Having recently been scammed as follows:


Sold an item for parts or not working
Guy opened a dispute saying does not switch on and parts missing (which was rubbish)
Of course ebay find in his favour and refunds him immediately but tells him he must return item
Tracking number is invalid so I appeal and ebay refund me

So guy has item which is worth what he bought it for and full refund.

My question is does ebay now go after him for the money they refunded as the tracking number is invalid?

If not all I can say is great scam!

Lou message him saying you have gone to the police unless he refunds you.

they will just take the 'refund' back from him - so he has the item but not your cash!!
(or it the item got lost in the post - he has no cash and no item )

Thats what I was wondering if they do chase him for the money.

I'm happy because my account was minus the amount, then I complained about the stress it had caused me so they refunded me again. Result!

Does he have poor or not much feedback? Simply don't do business with newbies ...

This is the thing, he had over 3000+ feedback! You can go rogue at any time I suppose!
