It was prety good, a different way of doing it than loads of artists two songs each.

We were there and it was indeed a memorable evening although personally felt Rhianna and Jay-Z could have been left off the bill. It was amusing though seeing her leave the set after her first number accompanied by about 6 heavies, one with a nice overcoat for her to wear. They then helped her into and out of a hammock for her second number.
Coldplay apparently appeared for a penny - something about it forming a contract? - wonder how much R and Jay-Z were in for?
Elton John from all accounts was demanding a fat (how apt?) fee - very sad
