Question Using Mobile Internationally

I need to get in touch with a someone who is currently in Amsterdam who has an Irish mobile with a 00 353 code.

Will that phone still work in Holland and do I just use the same code please?

Yes I have tried through Skype and I just get "This number cannot be reached at this time" message.

It should work, yes, unless he's had the international calling switched off.

As long as you dial +353 etc.. then yes. By the message it looks as though he has his phone switched off...

Would that be a default I wonder or would he need to ask his network? (I have no idea who that is btw)

I reckon he'd have to ask his service provider.
