Default Solved the problem with my push-fit halogen lights.

The little 12V ones that push two prongs into a ceramic bulb-holder-connector.

I've had constant problems with them over-heating the springs, which then lose their springiness, stop gripping the porongs and the prongs arc and burn, causing the bulb to go.

I've cut off the connectors and wired them into a pair of 3A connectors taken from one of those multi-way chocolate bar connectors.

Each bulb gets two, and the little brass connectors SCREW to the bulb prongs as well as the wires, giving a positive fit.

I took them out of the plastic to avoid problems with it melting.

Let's see how that gets on.

Sounds like a bit of a performance. Hope it works anyway.

Id be tempted to change the connectors for ceramic type as the plastic on normal connectors will melt in no time with the heat of your lamps.
