I have a crossed Postal Order payable to me.
Can I go to a PO and get cash or does it have to go into a bank account? If so do I just pay into bank like a cheque (assume yes)?

AFAIK, the crossing means it must only be paid to you. I THINK you can have cash or pay it into an account.

Can only be paid into a bank, or PO savings account.

Just curious Mike,
Do scammers ever try and fake Postal Orders or are the amounts too small to bother with?
I hear of fake cheques, bankers drafts etc but never postal orders...
