Default Home alarms?

Looking to get a home alarm installed.

Can anyone recommend one that doesn't have a monthly fee, but has alerts sent to my mobile.

We have the yale one, only had one false alarm in just over a year, thankfully we were only 2 mins away so shot home after it called us.

Big dog.

Failing that there are loads that will call you for free, just make sure it has a built in modem and battery back up, i bought a visonic wireless remote control one for my place in croatia and you can have as many sensors and remotes as you want, as well as being able to call several numbers if activated, got it from a local electrical wholesalers for around £120 a few years ago and its still going strong.

Pretty much any alarm with a siren/bell output wire can run a speach dialler (Such as a Menvier SD1+); Dials you up when the alarm is triggered and plays a recorded message.
