Rimmer receives an SOS Distress Call from a doomed ship commanded by his all-conquering brother, Howard. But Rimmer can't bring himself to save Howard until he's on an equal footing career-wise. He has 15 hours to pass his Astro-Nav exam and become an Officer. The same exam he's already failed nine times.
Yes and including the original cast. However after that spaztastic special where they visited coronation street I remain pessimistic as to whether this will be any good.
Fingers are crossed, but I a far from certain that this will work out. The last time it did start to pick up near the end. The old chemistry had started to return, but it was too little too late.
I think this one will just be for the old timers to enjoy.

I turned it off as I couldn't suffer it anymore, some things should not be re done and this goes to prove it. Its nearly as bad as the return to earth 3 part version.
Didn't actually know a new series was coming out. Had a watch and it wasn't too bad. Still don't like the canned laughter though. Hopefully won't be as bad as the last full series, and based on this one, it seems like we might be ok.
Glad they have not messed with opening and closing music either.
just watched it on repeat tonight and I thought it held true to the red dwarf style
and I really liked it
I am glad as I had doubts after that crap season 9 back to earth which annoyed me alot as I think it
was utter gash so glad to see this series off to a good start :-)
