An intersting story about a Republican candidate in Arkansas who is advocating the death penalty for unruly or rebellious kids.

Another one is this guy.

I find it slight worrying that these sort of people are becoming more common in US mainstream politics.

The first guy only a candidate, the second one is already in a position of power

most nutters in the US think it is only 5000 years old , so he is going off-piste somewhat
