I took a bit of a guess on the Picasso question, you could rule out 2 of them which meant a bit of a guess.
The memory game was hard..Dropped the one with 18 west thought it was 80!
Got one of the shapes wrong too
Cant remember the others silly mistakes I think
I thought the number sequences were good, enjoyed those but they made the time a little tight, compared to some of the other questions.

I got 126 and the missus got 124.
Think it's a bit crap personally. Mainly because you can guess the answers....if you were very lucky and guessed them all and got them right, would that make you very intelligent![Confused](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/confused.gif)
It would be better if you didn't know you didn't score it. Also, Anne 'sideways mouth' Robinson annoyed the hell out of me on some questions by reading them out slowly. I couldn't read it myself with her whining the question out at the same time, and with her reading at snails pace, half my time had gone before I could look at the answers [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] Should have done it on the web....
Wonder if the questions are the same on the web? If you didn't do it on the web, can you register, do it, and using the answers from last night, get them all right? Would that make me intelligent, a cheater, or an intelligent cheater for thinking of it![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

It is the same at exams...If you cheat and get away with it does that make you cleverer than the next man, I think so!
As for Anne I think she was struggling to read the autocue.
A true test of IQ should involve pattern-matching answers. They need to set similar questions just phrased in a different way that stops people guessing at the answers. Plus they need to grade the answers so that you gain more for achieving more correct answers in a block than on a linear scale.
My thoughts anyway.
Still think the whole thing was a waste of time.
Should have gone down the pub instead

No it depended on age, why I dont know as you are more likely to have experience the older you get, and it is proven that your brain doesnt slow down with age.
The max I could have got was around 133 for all questions right. When you go above 35 it moves up again until you are in the 70 bracket and then you could get 170!!

Thats quite correct - I am 72 - and got 168!!
Then again if Scoobynet consists of 'average' IQ then I am not surprised that I am in a Premier League of my own![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

I must be the smartest, or perhaps even a prophet because I Just knew everyone on here was going to be bordering on Mensa membership, Those celebs must be real dumies when the highest was 128 compared to the Einstien's on here

Just did the test online -- I got 133 (66 out of 70 in the age up to 34 category).
I can't quite get this 'you get more intelligent with experience' thing. I have to get 66 out of 70 to get 133, yet someone in the next age category only has to get 61 out of 70 to get 133
So surely I can't have the same IQ as them as I have to get another five questions right which makes the test harder for me![Confused](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/confused.gif)

What was the answer to the Picasso/Constable one then? (If you do the test online, you don't get to find out the right answers). I had 'stagecoach', theorizing that Constable was an earlier era than Picasso.
I also got the one at the start about 'furtive' wrong. I put 'guilty' which seemed more appropriate than 'stealthy'. I realize that 'stealthy' is the correct answer, but to my mind 'furtive' has more menacing undertones than 'stealthy'.

I got 106... but got very annoyed on one of them with Anne she spoke over the numbers... how am I suppose to add them up with her saying "1 + 2 + 3 + " etc...
Also my daughter kept distracting me but I don;t know if I would have got any more right..
BTW - I think the answer was Train to the Picasso question..
Picasso and Constable are both painters and a Bus and train are both mosts of transport.. I remember I answered train but cannot be 100% sure if it was right or not.
I can look it up if someone knows what question number that was as I wrote down the answers but only in A, B etc format for each question number.

I went with train but then changed to stagecoach. Although Constable and Picasso were both painters, Picasso was 20th Century whilst Constable was 18th Century (I actually don't know what era Constable was, but I assumed it was around the same time as Turner).
