Air freshners for cats
We've just got our first ever cat and never owned one before!
We're worried about getting a cat smell in the house.
Can anyone recommend an effective one like the mains ones?

House cat? Then you may get some smell, but mostly from the carpets/rugs. Good Febreeze and Hoover more often should sort it

My cats are 7 and 5. They don't smell at all.
Ant, congratulations on getting a kitten from a rescue place. Give it time. Hopefully, your kitten will soon be smelling of roses to Mrs. Ant. D Put the picture of your kitten up here for us to see.

Doh!
I saw a dog like yours the other day. It was amazing , but it wouldn't go into the river to swim. I don't know why. The other little dogs were jumping in and out, but he was just decently standing at the bank with his owners. I didn't quite understand why.

She does look a bit defensive and inhibited (often is a case with a rescue cat; she may change with a bit of TLC), but not really angry. Still a cutie for a cat lover like me.

You could tie a magic tree around its collar? New Car Scent is my favorite and would be cool having it waft around the house as the cat makes its rounds
Seriously though, we have 2 cats and they don't smell themselves. We do have a tray but that is in the utility room so doesn't make the rest of the house smell.
Both cats farted very badly when we first had them and its a first for me as I've had a few cats over the years and none of them farted. Settled down eventually but by god they could drop some shockers!

We have had cats for years and have never noticed any smells unless one had just used the kittie litter box for a dump. Cats usually prefer to do that outside in the garden somewhere anyway.
Our replacement for poor Fearless Freddie does drop one occasionally, first time I have noticed that and it can wake one up to put it mildly! Doesn't last long though.
Its amazing how sensitive wives can be if they are worried about something!

Got two cats at home, dont really notice any smell unless you plonk your nose in the litter tray. do have a glade plug in freshner that we keep turned on above the cats area just in case.
not had any issues.
as above they are clean and look after themselves, just get the occassional hairball but thats it.
