Absolutely disgraceful.
You're not allowed to vent at scumbag car thieves?.
The police are not doing themselves any favours in this situation.
Shouldn't they be shutting down the car theft pages instead of picking on victims?

Some of them probably have already been arrested 30+times...
Frustrating thing when things like this happen is, you know the thieving scum have got away with it, while you're left with the hassle and the cost.

I've often wondered, what do the utter scum like this become when they're much older, say 70, 80? Do they just look back on their youth as being a bit rebellious, living it large and on the edge, or do they ever really gain any insight into the abject misery they caused everybody?

Why does the law not have a hefty penalty for joyriders?

That would take a certain level of intelligence and a conscience.

am I reading this correctly?

are joyriders (utter cvnts) posting their activities with seeming impunity on FB

wtf is that all about, when the full force of the law is brought upon someone who obviously tweets in jest about blowing up Nottingham Airport

the Police/CPS should investigate FB for aiding and abetting a
a crime ffs

must be sooo frustrating for the victim

One of the problems with joyriders is that they are often young, so a social worker gets involved.

I knew one and he told me that his social worker told him that his nicking cars was "a victimless crime" since "their insurance will pay".

You couldn't make it up, could you?

He went to court on one charge, asked for 44 others to be taken into account, got off with a slap on the wrist.

I knew a chap whose Metro was nicked from Jimmys' hospital at Leeds, his wife was in dying of cancer.
During the day after, when he couldn't get, she died.........

It seems to be the same that if you get attacked by some yob after your possessions and you resist, giving him a bit of "what for" to stop him, you are likely to get charged with assault and slung in a cell yourself!

Yup your reading it right, joy riders with their own Facebook page bragging about their exploits and taking photos of the bikes and cars they steal.

Poor woman who has had her car stolen by said ar$eholes gets a warning for posting an offensive comment about them on the same site.

Twoc makes me laugh it's not taken without owners consent it's theft plain and simple

I twocked a mars bar from Tesco last night but I was going to take it back! WTF

I honestly think it's too late to do anything about it, the law has gone around so far to be PC it has negated itself.

I would be giving the Chief Constable of that area hell. These thieves have been at it for some time causing massive damage & putting their fingers up to the law on a public forum & still have not been apprehended & they believe it's a good use of police resources to send 2 officers to 'tell off' the victims.

The criminals are still out their causing mayhem.
The victims & their comments are not going anywhere.

The joyriders in a most undesirable area of Belfast have their own youtube page where they post the videos of cars being destroyed.

Appalled that the police allow this to go on, on facebook. Facebook also should be reprimanded for allowing this kind of page.

Audi's and BMW's... they are very easy to steal if the thief knows what they are doing, and very easy to clone. (Lots get exported to Eastern Europe).

Says fanny that lives in Manchester - one of the largest crime areas of mainland UK.
I've worked in the place a lot by the way, and currently still am doing some work there.

Now, out of interest, have you ever been to the city in order to make such a comment, or are you just being your usual ****** self.
Its pathetic - but that's just you.
