Bellamy is another Great British eccentric, we need more people like him to brighten our lives up.
I am sure that he knows what he's talking about and he's not afraid to keep off the 'Look how green we are' bandwagon.

He was an entertaining character and I always enjoyed his programmes. Sorry he has not been around these days.
He had the temerity to say that he did not believe in the global warming conspiracy and consequently was hammered by those who desperately wanted to con us that it was happening for their own purposes.
Now we have been told that there has been no global warming for some 16 years he has been proved right. Hope he returns to the airwaves.
It is significant that they now call it "Climate Change" but they cannot tell us why it is supposed to be changing now of course. The con continues naturally!

The Met Office this month downgraded its forecast for global warming to suggest that by 2017 temperatures will have remained about the same for two decades.

Either that or possibly the fact that Bellamy has been snubbed for the last decade or so by the Beeb due to his one word conclusion to the global warming debate. My post was highlighting that the term Poppycock seems rather justified in light of the Mets latest figures.

Whetrher it's poppycock or not is open to debate and that is exactly the point. What right do the BBC who are funded by our taxes have to decide it definitely exists as that is obviosuly what they have done?
Somewhere down the line it will no doubt come back to government taxation as no global warming = no 'green' taxes!

No I mustn't have, what I have done is to read the published reports by the scientists who probably were shouting about global warning because of an incorrect temperature reading on one of their temperature measuring balloons and who now admit that there has actually been no significant global warming for all that time and also that there is unlikely to be any in the years ahead quoted by them.

This 'science' you refer to has been thoroughly debunked.

and there is a vast amount of cash flowing because of it "they" want to keep it that way
as long as they can.
the deluded suckers who fell for it want to keep it going to save face.
and Al Gore is laughing all the way to the bank.
ANYone who calls it out for the crap it is on MSM gets squashed, Mr Bellamy
was one of the first which is a shame i enjoyed his work.
