Hypothetical question what would do ?

Some one gives you a large sum of money say 150k what would you do with it? We where talking about this at work so I thought I'd ask you lot

£150,000. Hmm, I'd pay my mortgage off in one lump sum and buy a small house with the change. Then rent it out to make me a nice neat egg in rent.
That way my wages are spent doing my property up and my other property is already paid off simultaneously.

I'm surprise no one has said cars and holidays most of the lads at work where torn between paying mortgages off and blowing some the funnies one was one lad said he would leave and not have to work !

At least £100K would go off the mortgage. Probably a bit more.
I'd upgrade my track car from a Clio 172 to a Megane R26R. (16k)
Buy some clothes, treat the wife.

I would say nowt to wor lass go straight to the casino and double it or die, then I'd wake up the next day with nothing but a hangover, tell wor lass, pack my bags and move back to my old mans!

Incidentally, £150k isn't that much money in reallity.
I can tell you for sure one thing - when you have that amount it is a right royal pain in the *** .......... do you keep it?, where?, spend it?, save it for latter years?, it isn't as easy as you may think!
