Since the EU have outlawed the use of gender to determine insurance quotes saying it is sex discrimination, does it follow that the same could be applied to age and it's only a matter of time before they try push that one through?
If not, why not? Taking it to the extreme, if they don't outlaw the use of age to influence insurance quotes, are they not breaking their own discrimination laws?
Surely blind people should pay the same premiums as people with sight.

So talking about this in the office, would it be possible to base premiums on people's names? It follows that people called Jane are less likely to have an accident than people called James?
