Which 330i?
E46? E90?
They are both rubbish inside if badly specced without any options. Yes you can get a basic spec 330i. (330i SE), even the M-sports has probaby an extra 5 grands worth of interior options to make it nice (nappa leather is £2K IIRC, which is much nicer than the vinyl effect leather), black ash trim, Harmon Kardon Hi-Fi, TV, DAB, M-tec steering wheel, 'leccy seats, 'leccy lumbar support, heated seats - even the "full" climate control is extra on a 330 (although many are specced with it, i have seen a few without) same with the PDC, thats extra too.
F30 330i much much much nicer. Even in basic trim.
And scoob nicer inside? Your're having a girafe, they have the interior asthetics of a Toyota Corolla fitted with racing seats

it a basic 330, boring and shocking interior, i like mine( bugeye sti prodrive) and think it alot better place be in than the BMW. Boring and depressing car to be in. fuel is bloody shocking on the thing, worse than my impreza. It meant to be top of the range(BMW) and there just not!

So its a e46, donkeys years old and its a basic model.
Because it has the 3.0 engine doesn't mean its atop of the range BMW...its more likely a bottom of the range 330i SE.
Likewise you can spec a 316 to have everything under the sun (bar the engine).

I was flying about in a new 320d M-Sport a few weeks back and by gum I loved the interior of it. It was just such a nice place to sit......but its very small inside and the pedals seem oddly offset.
I still remember the first time I got into a newage Impreza and couldn't work out why they put so much effort making the interior trim especially the doorcards etc so terrible.
