Just been mooching around looking at Gsi's and found this...

Some may think it sad, but if I ever came into serious money a mint GSI would be towards the top of my list of cars I had to have in my garage
The first car I wanted more than anything that I couldn't have due to insurance
It was a hard lesson to learn as I turned 17....I rang EVERY insurer in the yellow pages and was nearly in tears when it dawned on me I would never be able to afford the insurance costs 
Getting insurance was always a PITA back then with no 'caparison' sites to cross reference

Yeah I thought the same thing...£7k is a hefty price indeed, having said that it does look mint 
Its a car itch I never managed to shake, Nova's are my guilty pleasure and think they always will be I think its the square rear arch that's always appealed...I cant quite put my finger on it otherwise 
The only thing I'd change are the back brake lights
