The Conservatives are saying that we should be in the EU, that we will renegotiate our relationship, will protect the UK from waves of Romanian and Bulgarian migrants and will deport non desirables. Well we all know how the Abu Qatada deportation is going thanks to the European Human Rights Courts, but now the EU has stepped up to the plate to show who really is boss.

"New Brussels proposals today defy British protests over benefit tourism and abuse of European Union free movement rules by making it easier for migrants to move to Britain including "redress against any breach of rights". "
Clearly the Tories are living in a dream world in expecting us to believe them. This can only increase support for UKIP, the only mainstream party standing up for the interests of Britain.

Sometimes I do actually wonder if the EU does actually want to get rid of the UK.

It has been well-known for ages that, due to the Lying Labour policy of letting in one and all and with NO restrictions last time there was a migration peak, we cannot now put restrictions on new migrants from the EU without them having redrress via the ECHR.
We should not be blaming the EU...the blame lies squarely with Lying Labour.

Amazingly even the left wing flag bearer, the Guardian, is now promoting the idea that the EU is incredibly unpopular throughout major EU countries other than the UK. Seems like reality is slowly dawning!

The Eu ambition of course is to unify all the countries in Europe with the commissioners in control of the lot in order to achieve the maximum amount of power possible for themselves. They have been working towards that in small steps right from the beginning as they were advised by Jean Monnet until they can say that union is so nearly complete that they might as well go ahead with it completely. The economic performance of the Eurozone should spell out the real warnings should that happen.
I wonder what personal advantages our own politicians expect to attain if the Eu ever succeeeds in that ambition since they all seem to think that is what this country should do.

I think there is a good chance of Spain destroying the Euro dream. A big economy (4th largest?) but with 27% unemployed and an economy that is getting worse. Germany are about the only country with some spare cash but they won't be willing to bail out Spain. Then Italy and the cards begin to fall. And France seems in rapid decline.

Well is it really worth being a member if we are going to get dragged into all those bailouts then?
All we do is give the Eu money with no significant return except that they try to boss us around!
