Default Bloody seagulls

I went out for dinner this evening with my mother and when arrived home I find a seagull has managed to crap inside my bathroom through an open window. The window only opens about 2 inches, from the side too, not the top. If the Luftwaffe had seagulls on bombing missions back in the 1940's we would have lost the war.

We live right by the sea. They wake us every morning and sh** everywhere including all over the cars.

If it was legal, I'd shoot them with more than just a BB gun; which does upset then a bit.

The little sh*ts are now holding a party on my roof and have woken me up. Grrrrrrrr

Maybe I should show my appreciation and feed them some bread in bicarbonate of soda?

Careful they remember you and will attack you a la dambusters style, and you'll have a hell of a job scrubbing the **** off with all that man fur.

pair of sicko's, although I can see how the fish hook would work as I used to throw them the heads and guts of the mackerel i'd caught at Saint Davids Head and the way they swoop and catch it mid flight was entertaining to watch, also stops them bothering you when your fishing if they know they'll get a treat at the end they really are quite smart, so a bit of slack line and a good sized hook could do the job attach it to a big rock and hours of entertainment would ensue.

I gained a whole new respect for seagulls seeing them living out on the rigs. They can put up with some bad weather. Lad I work with was a fisherman for over 25 years he said he killed thousands. They flew beside the boat and he said he just twated them on the head with a broom handle haha.

I know people who used to feed them a chicken bone with a length of fishing line attached. Then he'd tie it to a hand rail on the back of the ship and watch the seagull try to keep up with the ship. Or, another one was to to blast them with a shotgun off the **** end of the frigate that I served on. Or, lastly, the Sodium Bicarbonate in bread thrown into the air for them to catch.

It wasn't me and I don't approve of killing them, but .........

We did that to a seagull in the Falklands, we also went one step further by tying the bread roll to a long piece of paracord. It didn't end well for the seagull which was more like a Pterodactyl than a seagull

It can be a nuisance, but they did live by the sea before we did!

That is true but surely the 100s of miles of coastline are better than our bloody roof/cars/etc!

Apparently, no, not if you're a sh1tehawk. 'Mine' like to crap on clean cars, I can hear them mocking me when I'm out washing the cars.

On one fine day, I had the car covered in merde du oiseau three times. I now regularly use a car cover but it's a right PITA when you realise you've left something in it or need to dash off.

They also love the roof just above our bedroom and appear to wear hobnailed boots at first light.

I'm generally an animal and bird lover but this is one breed of flying rat I'd happily eradicate.

The ones that had chicks on the roof of the house opposite recently (which raises the noise levels a lot) dive bombed us the other day.

I fookin hate seagulls
I would exterminate all of them in city limits
I was in the shed the other day and put a black bag filled with stuff at my door and went back into the shed
then heard some rustling and I silently walked out of the shed to find a seagull ripping open the bag as I peeked round the corner so I quietly picked up a big handfull of gravel and jumped round the corner and whacked that flying rat with the handfull of gravel
LOL it got a fair stun I hope it god damn hurt the little b@stard !

Nesting on top of a tall chimney stack at work. We had a false activation of the fire alarm last week, where everyone congregates in the carpark for a headcount. It was funny to watch the seagulls fending off anyone who was near their chimney.

They make loads of noise, and a fair bit of mess - but I'd prefer them to those who take holidays and day-trips to the stretch of coast where I live, who also make a lot of noise and leave a lot of mess.

What's wrong with me? Help.

I think it's wrong to torture animals to death, even Seagulls.

People around here have some sort of wire cage on their roofs which seems to do the trick.

Those gulls are pretty good at nicking crab sandwiches out of your hands though, they lie in wait by the sea food shop. Bit of a shock when they make a swoop too.
