Default Quick question re passport

Going to a wedding in France next month, and my mate has booked all the flights etc.. The wife's passport say's Jennifer, but he's booked the ticket as Jenny Will this be a problem, or will we have to change the name on the ticket to Jennifer?

Leaving the UK will likely be ok, its the return that might be an issue, for the sake of a few quid I would change the name on the ticket. I think its usually around £15-£30 to do.

It's the airline check in that will more likely complain. If it's a cheap airline like Rynaair or Easyejt they will want you to buy another ticket.... seen it happen with Easyjet.

I would contact them first and make sure. At the end of the day Jenny is an accepted abbreviation of Jennifer so you may be fine!

Better safe than sorry!
