If you had to bolt and could take only one tool from your tool box what would it be ?
For me it's my Mac 1/4 socket set. I bought it quite a few years ago and it cost a small fortune. But over the years it really is the most used out of all my tools.
My short handled, wide Jawed adjustable Ergo Bahco spanner, as someone had said above, being a plumber the amount of ****e this tool has got me out of is unvelievable, it would be like loosing an arm if i lost this little fella.
A close second comes a recntly purchased Milwaukee 18v li-ion impact driver, drill and cordless radio. Ive used a lot of cordless kit on site (including Hilti) and this mileaukee stuff kicks shot out of the rest!
As I'm a plumber I'd say my bahco adjustable spanner!
Well i figured because the set is all in one compact box i could grab it in an instant rather than search the tool box for all the bits. But yeah i probably cheated just a little
Some interesting suggestion here. Its funny how we have particular favourite tools no matter how many you have or the size of your toolbox. Loads of tools just sit there just in case one day you need them, but there is always one that gets used almost daily.
For years I used to struggle with a hacksaw whenever I wanted to cut a bit of plastic water piping, but I've now got a special pipe cutter and it has literally made jobs like that 10 times easier. I don't need to use it very often, but when I do it's there.
