It is a ridiculous quote but why do these articles always quote the value of the car being insured in reference to the quote? Your not just insuring the cost of the car but also third party liability. The car may only be worth £1400 but a liability claim could run into tens of millions.

Unfortunately 90% of people we quote don't seem to understand that.
