I have never understood the differance that if you starve your children they are taken away & you are prosecuted.
If you massively over-feed them too the point of endangering their lives nothing happens.

I'll wager their parents are greedy fat bastids too, lol @ the food industry being to blame for some greedy ****** eating too much how does that work do they pop round and force feed these kids?
You can almost guarantee that most of the people who are fat eat a load of crap and drink gallons of stuff like coca cola.
I also agree it's the parents fault full stop, how the **** do you let your kid eat so much that they get to 20 stone at the age of 10, they should remove the kids from the parents because they are obviously not responsible enough to have them, surely it's a chid welfare issue or am I missing something.
On a side note, ever notice how the fat bird in a restaurant always orders salad and a diet coke, I always feel like going over and saying, it's too late for that **** now b!tch.

My view is the latter. It's obvious the former isn't working.

It all depends on how you view society. Is it a free for all, where anything go's and its up to each person to make their own decisions. Or is there a case for arguing that some people are not as well informed, or have as much willpower as others, and they need support and encouragement.

Nah, I think they're just greedy ******* in a society where it's encouraged to be greedy and have more than one needs, I'd also say they are sugar addicts and get some kind of feeling of allation/ high and then need a sugar fix to get themselves back up, like giving some kids sweets or fizzy drinks then watch them go bouncing around like a lunatic.

Like I said expensive
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/asda-...agne_15kg.html
1.5kg of lasagna for £2!
People on a budget simply cannot spend £6.20 per meal
lets only include 2 meals a day instead of 3. 2 x £6.20 = £12.40 x 7 = £86.80
3 meals a day would be a food bill of £130.20
A lot of young families struggle to raise half of £86 to feed themselves a week!

A decent portion of cereal in the morning doesn't cost £6.20 for 4 or £1.55 each.

That's why i worked it out on just 2 meals for average sake
Mass processed foods costs less than fresh healthy food that's why we have the issue with fat kids, some parents are lazy fat slobs but most parents don't want to see their kids get fat and eat crap but find it nigh on impossible to afford healthy food throughout the week.

The crisps cola and chips is though AS WEll as being more expensive, add to that the computer games to keep them quiet ( more expensive than the library ) and the parents fear of letting little damian out of sight for fear of kidnap and you can see where some are going wrong
But the 10 stone example is beyond any of that clearly. The guardians have a screw lose

Rice, pasta and potatoes are not expensive but are staples, I don't have a big family but I still buy in bulk 20 kilo's of rice costs about £15 and can easily last a month for 4 people as with a sack of spuds from a farm shop or the side of the road, carrots and onions can also be bought in bulk and stored for a month no problem along with meat from the butcher stick it in the freezer, mince and sausages are cheap and very versatile, frozen peas are also cheap, buy long life milk, eggs last a couple of weeks in the fridge, buying in bulk has other advantages too, your not spending fuel going backwards and forwards to the supermarket all the time.
The problem has nothing to do with the price of food, it's to do with people being too lazy to cook real food and not planning ahead and thinking through their budget, price checking and sourcing good quality products at the right price.
And guess what poor nutrition slows brain function and takes away your will to do anything, due to lack of energy which is again due to poor nutrition.
Then instead of doing the above they sit on their ***** watching tv eating crisps and drinking fizzy pop in a state of constant hunger due to lack of proper nutrition, which makes their body think they are starving and goes into fat storing mode, add this to a complete lack of exercise and their metabolic rate slows almost to a standstill, end result = lazy fat bastid that barely has the energy to pull their fat **** of the sofa because of, guess what, poor nutrition and the cycle is repeated once again.

Lazy parenting, that's what it comes down to. When I was a kid, I used to be outside for as late as I was allowed and my mum and dad had to bring me n kicking and screaming. These days its playstations, xboxes, mobile phones, tablets etc etc, and the problem is, parents will happily buy their kids all these items so they themselves don't have to put in any effort in doing anything physical, its easier to just leave a kid in front of one of these devices and let them crack on.
This combined with not being arsed to do any proper cooking = fat kids.
Anyone who disagrees is obviously ignorant or a bad parent themselves.

They sit right next to the potatoes in the cellar, you have to keep an eye on them and use the ones that are going dark at the top before they go off, but they tend to last longer than the supermarket ones anyway because they've not been frozen for six months before you buy them, and for what they cost you can afford to lose a few or juice them like I do, there is also nothing to stop you from chopping them up and freezing them too.
Carrot juice, nutmeg, cinamon, vanilla nutrament and a bottle of guinness or dragon stout, home made strong back juice.

Try 1 organic cornfed chicken breast at £4 per person and some vegetables to go with it for a helathy meal.
