Friends of ours won the lottery before we met them. They lost contact with most of their original friends and family members as nobody could handle it. Just the simple stuff like going into a pub. Who pays? the guy with all the dosh, or should everybody chip in or what? How do people feel buying the lottery winner a drink? For them, it was some good news, but loads of bad. They had relatives milking them for money, then coming back for more when they ran out.
They bought a house in our area, and we sussed them out, and quietly let them know we had! We've told nobody who they are, as they've had enough of everybody treating them differently because of that information.
We get along fine, as we couldn't give two hoots how much money they have, and we share restaurant bills etc. with no bother.
Should you get lucky, tick the "no publicity" box and you won't have to run and hide, like the Bayfords.

"what first attracted you to the multi millionaire, Paul Daniels"

You always find that people find it hard to accept your a millionaire when all you did is pick 6 numbers(5 and 2 bonus on euro) and spent £2 and become a millionaire over night.

Id bank a lotto win, not spend it and slowly introduce it into my life, after Ive set up a business, and make out the business is making loads of money, a bit like a drug dealer does when he needs to wash dirty money and use it as a cover(accept it would be a legit)
