Forum, slow and laggy?
Is anyone else seeing the forum being slow and laggy?
Scrolling up and down the fourm is horrendous lately and I don't see this on any other forum, just SN.

On Snet so much junk has to be loaded for every page change my laptop occasionally gives up and freezes, requiring a reboot. No other site causes this

Adblock works wonders.
Seems that many of the "behind the scenes" scripts cause unnecessary delays

Could be.
Seems its more laggy when logged out. But when I'm logged in its fine.
But of course, I am a plus member, so it does have the ads turned off.

As much as I hate using Adblockers on free sites. I'm going to have to give it a try as it's making the site frustrating to use.

Well that's fixed it!
Is there a way to turn off ads just here and not every other website I visit?
