Default Is this guy having a laugh at us?

http://www.theguardian.com/world/201...al-deportation

I know the Guardian is a bit of a joke paper, but this story has something of the April fool about it.
Apparently this Australian can't live with his wife and child in Australia, because of the racism there?
But he can live here in spite of the dreadful inequalities he sees everywhere?
What a conundrum - an ideas S/Ners?

The guy's a complete and utter tool, and clearly in need of medical assistance - to extricate his head from his backside long enough to go and do a real day's work somewhere.

One of the comments sums it up nicely - 'great result for Australia'.

Guy is a complete tool. Can't help but think that the punishment was a bit OTT though.

Attack the establishment, you are going down. End of.

But yes, the Aussies do seem more casually racist.

No doubt some ar$e will be on here shortly extolling the virtues of the Australian way of life and how they cannot possibly be racist.

We should point them in the direction of SN NSR then, they'd be right at home with the utter ******* bell ends in this section!

A friend of mine spent a fair bit of time in Australia.
He made the comment that "An Australian will be completely rude to your face and mean absolutely nothing by it."
I thought about it for a few seconds and then burst out laughing.
It is the most apposite observation I have ever heard about Australians.

You wouldn't last 2 minutes in Australia.

You knew I meant you then

Now what is your problem about this again?

Which bit of I have already worked in Australia did you miss? Managed a whole 9 month contract and loved every second of it.

Whereas your experience is? Actually no save it as it'll all be bollocks to suit your agenda anyway!

Isn't it all a bit OTT for some prat that got cold and wet trying to disrupt a load of hooray Henry's having a jolly old scull in a smelly river?

No big deal, really.
