Hi Dan mate, I had the misfortune of having a collapsed disk in my back so I went in to hospital on the 30th of December to have a spinal fusion operation!!!
Basically what the surgeon did was cut my back open (7" scar) and screw 2 titanium rods in to my spine!!!
When I woke up I was so out of it a said to the doc
“hey doctor, my ***** are really itchy"
I can tell you that morphine is very strong stuff
Spent the week after the op in hospital and have spent the last 2 weeks in bed.
I have now been given the go ahead from the doc to get up and walk for a few hours a day but I am taking it a bit further and going to well lane on Sunday
I have a spinal jacket that I have to wear and some crutches so I should be ok
Are you coming mate???
Oh and I can't drive my car for another 3 weeks
