Blimey
We go away for a nice quiet weekend and come home to 170 emails
If you want to be in the register, click here You get the opportunity to fill in info about yourself and your car including an email address (becomes your login username) and then you choose your own password. The password allows only you to edit your own information i.e. when you add some mods
The reason I sent out the mailing to the above list was because the above people had registered on the old database and it was easier to copy the info over, make up a password for them then ivite them to log in and change their own password
The new database is much better as the old one did not allow any changes to be made.
Cheers, Jon
Ps. I'm going to be in London on business for a couple of days...when I get back I do not want another 170 emails!

Oh and another thing: Following on from a positive comment received, I have changed the register so as not to display the Area (ie Carlise, Cumbria is the 'county' field) and the person's surname.
These fields were never compulsory and each registrant has the option to leave them blank but I have removed them for the time being.
Please reply if you want to see these fields re-displayed on the site
Cheers, Jon
