many thanks to all who came, brilliant day and i hope you enjoyed it.
for the next event (27th april) there will hopefully be an electronic scoreboard for instant time /results flashed up at the end of each run. hope to see lots of you there!

anyway can people post up their results on here for comparsion please? my first go in my gt4 today and i would like to see how it compared, despite my hamfisted launch.
lol!

13.8s 102mph 1/4m
142mph top speed (only 1 attempt and missed 3rd gear on the run!)

Top speed 159.7 mph (twice) with four runs @159-159.7mph and still accelerating.
Further four runs, 156.5 - 157.9
Best 1/4 ml 12.28 / 1.933 to 60ft / 116mph
Other runs 12.30 / 1.899 116mph
12.35 / 1.905 116mph
12.45 / 1.963 116mph
12.65 / 1.990 112mph
12.76 / 2.231 113mph
13.06 / 2.176 115mph
13.14 / 1.887 112mph

Various launch techniques were tried out and there was a variable head wind evident almost straight down the runway.

Paul with one of the two Red wagons did a couple of runs.
13.36secs 105mph 144.3mph on the top speed.
What makes this interesting is his mods or lack of them.
Lightened flywheel,Type-R box with 3.9 diffs, Superchip,Revolution exhaust. That's it. Still on standard airbox.

I think he did not have the cover removed. Darkened windows from memory, P reg U.K. car. The other one belongs to another fellow Tyneteesscoobies member, Simon. His times were badly down on what he had done before but still respectable for his mods I thought.
He was abit disapointed as youare when you know things are not spot on so I hope he has been able to effect an improvement. In October it went really well.
