Any Northern Monkeys fancy a day out at Melbourne - it is just down the road from Elvington.
Bank Holiday Monday - £7 to get in £15 for unlimited runs.
Apparently there will be a jet car there that does the 1/4 in 3s!
See you all there?

There are a few of us from Hull going in a variety of cars. If anyone wants to join us we are meeting at McDonalds on St Andrews Quay at 11am. Post here or email me so I know who's coming!
Last time I went to Melbourne to see the jet-powered truck it broke down before it got to the start line!!!

I reckon it should be called DRWYB - finally managed to sign-on at 2pm - waited to 4pm having followed instructions - after no run decided to give up!
Also, Andy, Ok apparently not 3s after all, it was 4.68s with 176mph ts - he reckons it is faster but thinks he might have to change the gearing - not optmised for the 1/4 -

Paul - Sorry, had to duck out at 3:30 'cos Corey was seriously bored by then! I did a quick tour around but couldn't find you. Mind you, I was impressed he managed to hang on that long - thank heaven for the "big loud fire car"!!!
176mph in less than 5 seconds - RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!
