Ive got an Evo 6 at the moment which i bought recently and the alloys need a refurb! When i bought the car i used this to negotiate him down as the car is immaculate and couldn`t find anything else to bring him down on price. The alloys are OZ`s and they are slightly oxidised in a few places and have slight kerbing marks on 2 alloys! I would preferably need a place that can do them there and then as i don`t have a spare set of wheels to put on the car! I don`t mind travelling a reasonable distance to where i live in the N West.....Thanx Rob

I think the going rate is about 30-40 per wheel it may be a little more, give him a ring

Prescott Tyres in Liverpool are excellent £35 per wheel, look in the Yellow pages for the number.

I had my wheels (gold 17" Speedlines) refurbished by Dave Sheldon Performance Tyres in Manchester a few weeks ago and I can highly recommend them. It wasn't cheap - it cost me just over £300 - but this was because of the size, colour and state of the wheels (all 4 were badly kerbed, 3 had flat spots due to pothole/kerb damage and had to be reshaped). They had the wheels for a week and they might be able to loan you a spare set of wheels whilst they have yours. Give them a ring on 0161 228 2753.

I am skeptical of just how good a job these mobile companies can do in such a short space of time after seeing how much time and effort it took to refurbish my wheels properly. Like I say, it wasn't cheap but it was worth every penny.

you could try Car cosmetics in Trafford park Manchester, aint got there number sorry but did an excellect job on two previous cars of mine for a very cheap price £30 a wheel.
They are a bodyshop located near man utd

I too tried Dave Sheldon in town but I found them very expensive and this being due to them having to send them away for repair and then adding there own profit margin to this price.
