right, some further news on dates/options for this one. unfortunately we cant get a one off date for you in there before our 13th july event anyway, unless people want to come midweek?
(the 29th june date that people mentioned was incorrect, that is a bike only round for straightliners.)

otherwise it will have to be later in the season, ie after TOTB2, and trax etc. (prob mid-late sept would be best).we can run this as 200+ vs scoobs if you like to make up numbers .

i will email this info to peccy or wait to hear from you/him, but options can be summed up as follows:

1. run your scooby shootout at our general TOTB2 test day on 13th july which is open to all clubs. no probs at all with you doing this and giving out trophies . would need to know a confirmed number of cars to work with within a week or two please. there wont be massive queues , plus we have timed handling set up that day in addition to 1/4m and top speed. bit more interest then?

2. run the event midweek as just 1/4m and top speed, but this will have to be late may or in august after totb2, as cant be done in June/july .

3. wait until september (after trax)and run it as 1/4m and top speed.

if you want to run it on the 13th, that would work well and be a cracking day. i'll leave it upto you all for now

ps the test day for totb 2 on 13th july will at present have to be more expensive than a £30 "drag/top speed day", due to additional cost of running a full timed handling cct also. however, if we get enough numbers, it wont be more than 70quid max for the lot, and could be less, which is excellent value. i would need to know numbers quite soon though, hence posted this up here and on main forum.

Chris, cheers, sorry for confusion.

I will be there on the 18th May, and the 13th July.

You must know my car by now, the Mica Red Wagon, put my name down.

Looking forward to September.

the may date is an open cars n bikes event and cannot be swapped to cars or one make only, hence consideration for later in season. i have now spoken to peccy and we are now working on that for you to give a date in september, to make it scoobs (and a few 200+ cars) only.

dont forget the 13th july elvington day is still on, open to all, timed handling, top speed and 1/4m, and lots of top cars expected as its practise day for totb2.

pay on the day for that one but you can email me or peccy if you want adding to our list for 13th july.
