its york dragway, not elvington airfield.
york dragway (melbourne) is about 10 mins further on from elvington and is a seperate airfield.
my mate is there now in a rwyb and has just done 12.4s 120mph (white maestro turbo!)

Run What You've Brung £9 per day, £15 for 2 Days.
UK National events £9.50, £15 for 2 Days
Camping £10 per adult per day including admission. £15 for 2 days.
Children 12-15 half price. Children under 12 (accompanied by parents) admitted free

NO ACCESS AFTER MIDNIGHT
Gates open from 8am on the day.

Which golf was that? I was there with a group of 306 rallyes and came up against a very silly quick golf with bonnet pins in it. Never stood a chance. In fact it was very dissappointing as I could only get a 15.8, which was my first run, I got slower the harder I tried 
. Another cople of rallyes got 14.8s along with a Mi converted 205.
