Cheers Cheesy & Bobcat, got home fine, I guess you 2 did. Sorry I had to wimp out but you certainly showed up the woeful inadequacy of my ageing VW. Hammered it home that I really need to get my Scoob sooner than later. Would have loved to do more but in my car it would have been dangerous and stupid to continue. That STi is awsome, even when I get my Scoob I don't think I'll be able to compete against it. Hope to see you at some events, and maybe join you for another drive when I'm better equipped, LOL.
PS. You really must have a word with the other S.Yorks drivers, very poor turnout.

Think the cars are ready for a meet/blast out again.
What dates suit people wed 1st OCT or the wed 8th OCT?? (by the way PECCYS car is back to standard so it'll be slower pace!!)
I've got a route in mind but I'm not writing it out this time just do it on the night!.
We'll start at the MOORLANDS PUB AT OWLER BAR 7-00pmCLICK HERE
(Between SHEFF and BASLOW A621) if thats not too early so we can stop for a drink on the way around??

my scoobys gone, so cant come out to play, gonna buy a run about soon though, seen a NISAN BLUEBIRD ZX TURBO for £100! so could bring that and make up the defisit in power with my expert driving skills

Yeah im up for this again as long as i get a clutch on Tuesday. The 1st would be better for me but if not i'll try and make the 8th.
Anyone got any recommendations on some brake pads, cos these newly designed greenstuff pads are CR*P!

Got Mintex on mine M1155 all round alot better than standard but still not as good as the brake's should be for a performance car. (could not resit a grumble about standard scoob brakes). Got the mintex from Questmead.

I haven't got the Scoob yet but can I tag along. I've been waiting for a decent run out. Could you please give me some more details of the pub you're meeting at as I can't seem to pin it down with Yell/Multimap/Route66.

8th ..7pm..yes count me in..talked my brother into bringing his scoob on its first proper run out so going to let you show him how its done cheesy since peccy is car less for the mo!!
wonder if daza will make his excuses at the last minute??? lol

Cheers Cheesy, now I just have to twist Corradogirls arm. Boy am I gonna go through some Optimax that day. It'll no doubt be a full day around Derbyshire to wing it. Anyone recommend a good (easy) walk to fill the day 'til 7. Oh, and does that pub do good food? If so I'll eat there early so I''m fuelled and ready for when you all show up.

Soz Mate im not gonna be able to make this one im working . Will definatly be there on sunday though if my brakes survive. Better get that new clutch bedded in quickly
