As mentioned before, not strictly a drive out tonight, more a night in.
We need to get our heads together, to discuss the upcoming events we have planned, I cant get out as the wife is away, so its all round to mine.
I will put the address and multimap link on the smacs forum.
Now, here's what you have to do, after discussing the events, we can watch some film clips on my system, so, you have to nominate your best car chase!
I will start you off:
THE BOURNE IDENTITY
BULLIT
DRIVER
all have excellent car chases in them, unfortunatly, I only have BOURNE on DVD.
So, if you nominate it, you must bring it with you on the night, I'll provide the popcorn and fizzy pop,
see you all wednesday,
chris.
ps, admission is £2.50 for adults, £1.50 for children, students are £10(get a job you slackers!)
oap's are free (soooo tempted to say something)
TIME IS 7-7:30 PM BY THE WAY !!

PS count me in
not fully car chase's but the itailan job (mini cooper's) and the gumball rally

Ah yes, the AGM residents meeting went well, and the car parking was only mentioned in passing!
I also managed to get myself nominated as a director!
So, now, if anyone complains about the noise of a bunch of scoobys on the close, it will be me they complain too
See you wednesday andy, top choices of film.
Has anyone seen or got TAXI on dvd? It is a french film.
CW42 (THE BOURNE IDENTITY)
ANDY_S (THE ITALIAN JOB, THE GUMBALL RALLY)

I've got Taxi Great film
Whether I can get over there from work in Sheff for 7ish to add to the rumble on your street is debatable but all us scoobs parked outside your place is a must for your neighbours

I plan to turn up (for once!) but have a cub camp meeting @ 8:45 back at home, so likely to miss the film bit unfortunately.
My vote goes for The Driver however.

Damage
Wheel came off the alloy
Paint has flaked off bumper
scratches on wing
Scratches on door with a small dent
mirror smashed
indicator smashed
side skirt cracked
So far I've
fitted a new skirt
replaced wing mirror and indicator
Tried polishing scratches out but no luck
So it lucks like a respray on bumper, dint knocked out of door and maybe a respray on wing and door ( I don't know)

Sorry to hear that Stuart. Take it you mean the tyre came off the alloy. If it has get it checked out properly before refitting it. Get your tracking looked at by a laser tracker. I think Prosport can do this.

yes, it was the tyre, it just popped off. I checked both the tyre and wheel, no damage. I blew it up with a compressor and it popped back on. Wheel and tyre seem OK now.
