Yes they are size 9 possibly 9 1/2 so room for expansion ( :P lol)
Looks like the car is goig due to the insurance premium quoted. For the same money I can buy and insure another car with more luxury and a 4.0litre 6 pot engine though not a fast one, also has room for the dog and all the other cr4p I seem to be carrying.
Please don't mention the F*** word in my presence again, I ventured into that dark corner once before in a cossie but never again. Something American this time.
Can you work out what?
Kev

Well,
Not wanting to let this die....
Is the usual group (open arms are extended for all) up for the monthly meet?
Before we do (and to get all manly like Kev ) we need to find out if we wish to move the timing to the day time. This was mooted at the last meet becuase the evening doo meant that the cars couldn't be viewed, and with Scoobynson getting a new midlevel spoiler which needs to examined in the minutest detail, it is a good point.
To start the ball rolling ('discussion' only Kev and NOT a step forward to organise things )
I'd prefer a Sunday afternoon meet. Reasons;
1. Daylight. Only real chance to take a look at the hardware. It also breaks up the meet; rather than sitting around a few tables simply talking all evening.
2. Sunday is a good day to use the excuse to have a Sunday roast at 'the Bridge' with a few pints. It also means that the meet can be extended (more looking or even a drive out) if the mood takes us.
3. My family can come along as my young lad and the nipper can make it as well. Something they would like to do. My wife can then drive (see comment on pints above!)
However, I am more than happy to go with the majority. If we want to keep a Wednesday evening doo, then cool.
Can we have a show of 'keyboards' as to your 'preferences' (keep it clean!)
Over to you....
Al.

Looks like the scoob will be going so I will hand over the reins of the FB meet to AlanC (You know you want to). I will still come along but maybe in something with a slightly bigger engine and loads more body roll.
Sundays are sometimes OK for me, depends where I am for the weekend but I am sure if I am not working I would be able to come see.

Franko...
No probs mate, you know where we are. No doubt we will get a date sorted and post it here. If you can't make this month, then not a problem. Keep an eye here to see how the flow goes for a day meet.
I've downloaded the clips... excellent stuff. If you want to save space, then I can help mail them on to anyone who wants them if you are struggling to get them all on..
Kev...
Jeez man.. you'll do ANYTHING not to organise a meet.. but selling the car? Is it something I said? Bit of a shock.. but you are always welcome mate.. you know that (Oh, except in a Focus... bloody things spoiling photos!)
What size shoes have you got? If they are 9's then I could step into them...
Of course.. we could gang up on Madgrip and brow beat him into it?
Anymore input?

Sundays might be difficult for me as I work W/E nights, but I'll try to get along for an hour late on if possible. With these dark nights and the weather turning nasty it's time to hibernate and enjoy one of the other hobbies for a few months. Time to annoy the neighbours with the odd DTS soundtrack methinks
Kev, getting rid of the Scoob? Will you be like so many others and be back within a couple of months? Is there something you and Hazel aren't telling us? We all know why young couples buy large American vehicles. School run anyone?

Corradoboy,
Knackers to that, though the new dog I am sure would not like being in the back of the sccob looking though the ski flap. The problem is the insurance, if it was reasonable then I would no doubt be keeping the scoob instead I am afraid I have to resort to the Yank Tank and a caterham style kit car to keep me out of trouble for the winter (400bhp/tonne anyone).
Also working weekend nights this week, though have also done Mon/Tues days and wed/thurs nights. 84 hours a week anyone??

Hi Guys
Still up for coming to the meets, Wednesdays nites are out though now with F'ball training!
Could probably make Sunday afternoons although I'm not sure how the g/f will take to that!
Hope the drive out to Elvington went well!
Speak to you all later

I know this might be a bit obvious Alan , but why not have both?
Have a mini meet on Sundays then people have 2 choices ( or both).
I cant always make either.
( can my liver take an extra night?)
go on al you know u want to!
as for seeing Jackson , i know what u mean.
I saw him moving about 4 wks ago he was flashing like close encounters!

Scoobynson... Mmm a good General needs a good Lieutenant. Fancy a field promotion?
No reason why we couldn't have two. Still means that we wouldn't see the cars and we would be stuck inside for the whole meet really. Not sure if the interest would stretch to two a month.
If we go for a day meet (which does look popular) on the last Sunday of the month (to help Phil) then we can canvas then to see who wants Wednesdays as well.
All those in agreement say 'Aye'..... ***pause***
Me...'Aye'... carried then... (I learned this 'manly' thing from Kev)
So provisional is Sunday 26th... Give me some names and I'll tell the 'Bridge' to get a bigger cow (Nut loaf for Franko).
MG...
Glad you're feeling better. You deserve a medal mate. You did look (snotty nose, dribbling etc)and sound (nasty cough and wheezing) bad with a capital BAD, but you made it up on the trip out. Dedication to the cause... respect.
That layby must have cheered you up no end. Listen, don't thank me. Oh OK, mines a lager!
Look forward to seeing you soon.

Scoobynson..is this cowardice I see before me? Expect some white feathers thru the post Monday.
Ah yes, Mr Madgrip. Fine fellow (when he's not a bit palid and sickly with some bug that is)
Step one pace forward...
A few laps around the parade square (Bridge car park) will put some hairs back on his chest, oh yes.
See me in my office on the 26th (stool by the arch, near the bar)

Kev,
Dunno about corners but if you're not in a scoob, Emley mast car park should be close enough at least you know where your's is at a distance and we can see it for miles
As for daytime meets - I'm better for midweek nights (except Tuesdays) but weekends are a bit hit and miss with other things

Maddy, your very welcome mate.
Just popped over to the site. Most impressed; a superb job and now on fave list.
This Sunday 26th will be most likely and having the event on your site would be a great help in getting the event noticed.
Cheers mate.

Hi Kingy,
Yup, once the scaffolding is down, I'll need to vacuum the drive for nails etc.... Should have a good view out over the fields, at least when the tarpaulin is off the roof!
So, who's up for weekday eves???
