once again it was an excellent spin to blackpool!!!!
franks little co-driver (shannon) counted 53 scoobys, 2 evos, an RS Focus and a saxo, so it turned out to be quite a gathering.
.......great photos, scary mask, loved the 22B, our car needs a good wash! any volunteers?
and my final word is neeeeeeeeeeeeons!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Very interesting" were the words of my girlfriend who missed the first blackpool meet, even though i spent a while trying to explain what was so special about the 22B that was in front of us. "it just is, okay" was my final answer.
Glad i managed to lead u all down to the norbreck okay though the idea to all do three point turns in the middle of the prom was all Franks, quite a sight, i think the local houses were all wonderin what was happenin on their quiet stretch of promenade!
Right, think i'll go and spend a fortune on mods now so i'm ready for the next get together. These meets have a habbit of making me dissatisfied with my scoob!

Such has been the success of the first visit to Blackpool, a number have expressed an interest in doing it again ...... on the Final night, which happens to be the Sunday 2nd November.
If you are interested, and are up for this .... please leave your mark.
This time round, i would suggest we go in from the North End, and if we meet at Charnock Richard again, im happy to get some maps sorted and can issue everyone with a print off.
Apparently 43 were counted on the first event ... taking in Charnock Richard and those who were at Blackpool waiting.
*Blackpool locals, any chance you could email me to exchange fone numbers and get some planning on the go* ... cheers
Initially looking to gather interest .. so , over to you..>>>

Yep - up for that as well. Is there any chance of making it a little later than the first time Frank? (the lights tend to be a little less hectic later on & it give us time to get tea without it being to early!

From: R.I.P Piphead, at least you are home now :(
Yep count me in too
Not sure who I will bring along this time, maybe Sis & Nephew again & obligatory masks
Later !!!!! I got home at 12.45 and had to be up at 6am for Santa Pod
If I had realised we were gonna stay so long at Charnock Richard, I would have grabbed some more food

Oh yes i want in again!!
To good to miss this one and either me and/or griner can sort out some details with you red wrx as were local...
What we need is a meeting point in blackpool where we can all gather and then start from the North end like you said.
Could also stop off at the Airport again at South end like we did last time as a few stops is good for some photo's.
Griner maybe we should spread the buzz to the local lads and get as many down as we can for the finale?

Thought of a good place to meet for the blackpool 2. DJ Watts, what you think of the lower part of the prom just up from Norbreck next to anchorsholme park? No parkin restrictions there and good photo opportunities with plenty of space. Its also only a mile away from the start of the lights (north end). Red WRX, we could arrange to meet you and all the others on your way to Blackpool and take you in from the north side?

Yep no worries, leave it with me and i'll sort out map address for you later tonight. Its goin to be better if we take the kirkham turn off before u get to blackpool, that way we'll go in from the north, its signposted as if you were heading for fleetwood. There is a pub just off the motorway though not sure if there's the parkin for 30+ scoobs, will get back to you on that one as well.

Guyz, i'm happy to meet up if you let a lowly BHP'd Focus RS in?!?!? could try and raise interest and get some more come'in an'all
Heard about the first meet from my brother who said that he could hear the growling engines miles away!
I know the area like the back of my hand and am will to help if need be.
It's really 6 and 2 x 3's coming off at kirkham, if it's goona be busy it'll be the same anyway u go, if you come off next jct down there is a B&Q warehouse with tonnes of parking, oh and a pub/hotel opposite
let me know if you need further info.
Regards

B&Q warehouse would be an excellent place to meet but lookin to start the lights from bispham end this time, might be hard keepin everyone together goin from B&Q to bispham, what u reckon? few got lost last time around.

Griner i think we need somewhere close to stop as soon as possible from the motorway for everyone out of town.
This way the convoy will be with local lads who know Blackpool well and know where they are going so when it next starts off again we can group up with a spread of local boys spread in the convoy just in case some get cut off at the lights or something.
Maybe one front, one middle and another near the end of the tail?
B&Q at the preston new road area sounds good and space will not be a problem for parking up but we need to make sure that the B&Q store does not have any barriers or anything that come down late at night or that could mess us right up.
I will try and check tomorrow and see if there is any or maybe you could have a quick nosey if you were passing too so that we can be safe for sure.
If we agree on this then we will need to draw up a plan from going from here to the north end and get it multi mapped and i can host it and put up a link here for everyone to print out in case the worst should happen and just for everyone that wants it really.
We can then go through the lights and stop off again at Blackpool Airport like we did before or if we wanted there are a couple of other car parks further up (Morrisons/PC World) that we could use if we wanted.
