New 4 wheel drive Rolling Road in Warrington
I am told that a new 4 wheel drive rolling road is opening up in Warrington in the next 2 - 3 weeks. Give them a little time to get sorted and we can have a local power run session perhaps, hire it for some tuning / setting up work, etc.
Costs seem likely to be around £35 a run for a power run, possibly £30 a go for over 10 cars on an organised day...
My contact can keep us informed as and when it gets going and any offers!
ciao for now

System r
21/22 Aston Court, Kingsland Grange, Warrington
01925 289100
Opening around 1 April ( no, don't laugh or point! )
I'd suggest our contacts suggest a free or £10 run for the opening event to get them some publicity and / or credibility ... we know most of our cars powers ( ) so can see if they are any where near!

I'd come down to watch, but I dont need to spend £30 to tell me my standard WRX's figures - I just need to spend £3.90 on a copy of What Car

I used them for the bump steer and alignment ( having done the roll bars & drop links, anti-lift kit, springs/dampers myself ) and was well impressed.
Not a bad town to visit for shops etc. too!

i'll pop along and see how he's getting on next week!
may have "Banzi" magazine coming to cover the RR day as well.
and also may have a low mileage 3 door "standard as the day she was born" cossie, and a skyline coming to boost the numbers!

Auto on rolling road ?
Does anyone know if it's possible to check the power/torque on a WRX with auto transmission, on a rolling road?
I'd like to see what I'm running at before starting any mods.
