West Yorkshire IOC - Run out - 17th March
Buried somewhere in the depths of me original thread is an original idea... 117 posts of muppetry have killed it stone dead...
RIP... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...1&page=3&pp=30
Various folks have been in touch asking 'What's goping on?'...
So.. to clarify...
Where we going?
We are holding a run out to the Foxhouse Pub, Pennistone Rd Holmfirth.
When?
Thursday 17th March leaving the car park at 7:30
Which car park?
The FB was suggested as stariing point, but I believe we wouldn't get out of 3rd by the time we got there... it's that close..
So, in order to have any sort or run.. can I suggest we aim to start at the Trading Post, Whitwood? Set-off time 7:30
Any extras Sir?
But as I'm a Black County lad (yes, really) another suggestion that would increase the 'driving to' pleasure would be welcomed...
What will happen ?
We will drive in convoy on or near the legal speed limits, on various windy roads, for many minutes before arriving at the pub to oggle the ticking & cooling hardware, a shandy, some grub if you fancy, another shandy and then a run back on the same or diferent roads for many more minutes.... Getting lost is optional, but may well form part of the evenings festivities..
If people wish to nominate a sub meeting point that will help them make the time, then ask away, we'll do our best to programme the various Sat Navs and arrive at (or near) the actual location...
Actual route planing will be;
1. Made known..
2. Made up..
3. Decided upon..
4. Acted upon at the TP
Clear as mud?
As you can see, this is a highly planned operation of military grade quality, so I hope this clarifies the evening for the normal attendees and most welcome newcomers ?????
Please keep muppet free to enable people to actually read, digest and understand the suggested meeting points ... ta

Muppets....?? Where....??
Anyway, I know the Foxhouse.... I even know where it is.... And possibly even a 'good' route.... At least from my house....
Might volunteer to be squadron leader.... But will have to take it easy.... As I'm still on thin oil....

Dazza has recently purchased GT4, so getting anything out of him other than his latest lap time for the 'Ring is nigh on impossible. I dare say he'll be posting something shorty.

A GT4 Challenge thread has been created and I've hijacked the similar SMACS thread and thrown down the gauntlet....
