Seen as I am flying out on the 4th November I won't be able to make it to the Tour D'Ecosse, and this is an opportunity I would be daft to miss
So, I have an offer of driving a truly fantastic car on track at Donno, that is if the person remembers that he is gonna lt me drive it
So, Mellow? Fancy a thrashing?

Im going down too, waiting to hear if i am on track due to driving a Honda, but have to go down and get some new discs & pads fitted by Mark Tyres Northampton (Top Chap) in preparation for Mon 5th at Donnington.
If i manage to get on track, Scooby owners watch for a white blur as i fly past.

Brekkie sounds good Bob,
I think the people on track need to be there for around 8.00 -8.30 (i'm still awaiting the info pack) so maybe brekkie at Donno servs ? 1st meet point at Woolley Edge, say 6.30am ?

Bob T,
do I detect a touch of relunctance for such an early breakfast? I must confess, I thought this must have been re-organised as a night meet!!
I'll be there with t_m (can't shut her up now!) and the support crew, if I can part them from their pillows.
cheers,
Steve_F

I'll be there as a speccie. Mr Mellow (Tiff) is letting me do some passenger laps with him, anyone else got a spare seat for a few laps, for a chiken to scared to take his own car out?
Michelle please don't tell me your borrowed car is the one I think it is (cossie powerd?) Surley it's a crime for such a fast car to be driven so slowly around a track. HeHe.
See you all there Matt.

Michelle, please don't tell me that someone's car is cossie powerd? Surley it would be a crime to drive such a fast car so slow. HeHe

NOT A HAPPY BUNNY IN ROSSENDALE.....
Just rang to politely inform insurance company of upcoming trackday, cover has been included since car & Policy purchased new.
Just been informed that since takeover of Privilege by Directline that Trackday cover has been withdrawn from Policy.
6:30am breakfast would be hard to swallow as a speccie.
Any help or advise appreciated guys. Busy night ahead looking for new insurer.

Steve, it's not the early breakfast that bothers me, you know me now, I have all the time in the world for eating, it's just the whole getting out of bed and driving for two hours to get it It'll be worth it on the day I'm sure..it will be worth it.. won't it??

Steve F,
How have you got on looking for a new insurer that'll tolerate track days ?!?!
If you are struggling, give me a call at the office (0113 250 0377) and I will see if I can help. We do use an insurer that do give full cover for trackdays (£1000 excess) for £78.75 a chuck as an extension of the normal policy cover.
I (hopefully) should be there as a speccie with Tom (Rum*) from the office... I may see you there... Hope it's a good 'un !!
Cheers,
John

By the way... Anyone feeling generous and would offer a friendly insurance bloke couple of laps ?!! (...cringe !!)
