TTS MID AUGUST MONTHLY MEET/ DRIVE OUT
Ok ladies and Gentlemen
I have suggested a run out for the TTS and CS somewhere, and Kielder sounds to be the general consensus. So, talking with martin, here are the ideas so far.
A meeting point for the TTS will be the Angel Inn @ Corbridge.
From there we will follow the route in the link below. Its approx 35 miles to the top of the reservoir into Kielder Village, stopping off at a few places on the way such as Tower Knowe for a few pics along the way.

A lap around the Castle......
There a re a few options from here.
We can then retire for a meal at a pub in Bellingham, (pub TBC) then from here, home. This may be possible for a weeknight....
Or, if we decided a weekend, probably a sunday, we could, from the castle take the toll road through the Forrest Drive. Then again, to a pub for a meal and or refreshments.
Your idea and or suggestions would be appreciated, and could we please have an idea of numbers so that prior arrangements can be made with the choosen pub
Thanks
John

You can put me down for that.
Weekend run would be the best for me.
I will still have a run out midweek too, but a sunday drive on the toll road does sound good.As there would be more time and light, may even get some sun
But put me on the list as i would be up for it

well, we need to know whats going to be best for most people.
Im thinking a weekend, as by the time people get in from work, meet up at the Angel inn, its going to be quite late.
Think this is being mentioned at the meet, so your feedback is required so that we can put plans in place.
Cheers

no problem mate.
But with regards to the hotel, at the meet could you run the name by Lordharding, as there was a meet where people sneeked off without paying and there was a falling out.
Run it by him, see what the score is.
I would say a weekend would be better, as we wont be stuggling for time
but, its everybodys decision at the end of the day, its a club meet.
Cheers
