illuminations run thanks
Ater 3hrs and 10 mins going through the lights
Nicola and i have just emptied the buckets and we are amazed with the amount raised, we have smashed last years total of £1110.00 with a massive total of £1439.58
Id just like to say Thankyou, for so much,,
the raffle prizes, the distance travelled by so many(darlington, scotland, wales  ), the kind donations,
the girls who dressed up in the subaru outfits 8) , Thomas in the scoobydoo outfit, the lads who helped park you all up, the catering van which kept you all fed and watered, Lofthouses for the superb car park, Neil porter for the stunt show, the lovely police officer for being so lenient for the multiple catalogue of road traffic offences carried out by the guy on the bike but most of all id like to say thanks to all the friends i have made who have helped make all this possible,,
hope you all got home safely,
Andy, Nicola and the scoobyteknix gang 8)

another FANTASTIC night with the subaru community
the CS had a nice convoy down from junction 36 nice to see some of the new members there joining in with the old boys
A slow start (but it doesn't matter as thats part of the fun in it )where we never moved for half and hour before we got to the lights then i headed off down a side street andthere was loads of scoobies doing the same and came out near the tower then met up with some of the LADS and we cruised down the full section and eventually got to the end at 1015 ish with Rob and Mr Plumb only 5 miutes behind
great night saw loads of great cars and many other fanatics to talk to
and good to see a couple of the D&G boys and the LADS were out in force including the legend 'craft.' who is going to order a blue and yellow blanket for the Doberman at next years NBO """
Nice to talk to Frank RED WRX who was the orignal <vision> for the blackpool run and its hard to believe it started some five years ago
l
Nice to see a few of the TTS and the Darlington boys and Mcrae group out in full force too
signed up Scoobytechnics 'babes ' for NBO next year
all sorts of cars there including a minis club and even a rolls royce phantom complete with kids in the back with the shiney things
rich and poor everyone loves the ride through the blackpool lights

Had a good night....got split up but was still a goodun!
Thats awful to hear that it was a little girl that got run over! Thoughts go out to her and her family.
People do just walk out in the road though. They don't seem to realise that buses and coaches have to take a wide swing around corners. If the red man says stop....then you stop, he's not flashing you for cheap thrills!LOL!
Anyways, hope she gets better soon.
Maybe for next year we should have a pace car at the front of the pack, slowing everyone down from Scoobytecknix. I had good fun blasting down to the front but it did mess the convoy up.
Glad to hear you beat last year.....the little girl that my g/f works with has been in Alderhay all weekend and we know the extremely important work that they do is made easier in the knowledge that the public values it.
ROLL ON NEXT YEAR!!!!!

Andy,
Well done mate...
Having organised this event in its infancy, it takes alot of effort and time. Not only having a family , but also a business to take care of ..... without the likes of yourself and John (LordHarding), and others, these events just wouldnt take place or be any where near as successful. To some its just owning a car, for a majority 'Subaru' is a lifestyle .... and its a great feeling to be part of a fantistic community.
A fantastic amount of money, well done..!!
And final i go to meet the legend - who is ' LordHarding' - thanks fpor the comments above - likewise to yourself, a top bloke..!
Best wishes
Frank 'redwrx'

Thanks for organising a great day. Even managed to stay with other Scoobs through the illuminations - first time in 3 attempts!
Bad news about the young girl and the coach though :-(

Thanks to all for making this such a great event. Myself and the other half came down to represent DGScoobs and had a brilliant time looking at the cars and meeting friends we'd met over the season.
