Cheers Steve, Banshi, Matt and Tony.
I'll make the adjustments. Didn't see you the other day Banshi, honest, where were you?
Black Knight,
Yep no probs, be good to see you there. Can't guarantee you'll get a run this time, as there are a lot of reserves. But you never know. It'll be a good laugh anyway. Ask Dave to show you my new manifold if you go up before Saturday, it's awesome!
Cheers

With this Macmillan thing I thought it was impossible not to see me at present
8.30 am approaching the lights, presumably busy chatting about this new manifold, as I exited the island.
Or maybe simply struggling to cope with all that power you are now developing!

If HKS are to be believed there should be decent gains (at least 20bhp) and looking at the kit, I believe it, it's a superbly engineered product.
Only time will tell.
I paid £815 + the dreaded.
A few people on here have seent decent gains with them. Hks claim 40bhp, but I sincerely doubt that. (would be nice though)
I suspect it'll do more for the torque than the bhp based on what owners of them have said.
I'm still not running this time though at Well Lane. There's so much demand I'm being noble.
Cheers

If you get 20bhp over and above what you've currently got I'll be amazed...
I have seen the HKS headers and the Scoobysport ones... at the time I decided on porting the std ones for about £100! - I'm not aware of anyone with similar mods to mine getting more power with the after market jobbies - but then thats on an sti
Best of luck though - by all accounts your power should be similar to mine with those things running at nearly 1.5 bar - but I aint jealous - what else is money for if you cant burn it
Somebody had a go at the Scooby community the other day (no not Kosta's) saying that you could'nt 'polish a turd' so why bother - how nice!
You've more money than sense lad...................
I'll be very interested to see wha Chris gets with the Motec

My curiosity has got the better of me and I'm going to get a new power figure on my own before 30th June, so watch this space.
Despite what I've heard some say, The HKS ones are not equal length, far from it. Just look like they'll flow better.
May be that there is no top end power increase as such, but that it gives a bit more midrange perhaps which suits me more actually, as mine has bog all low down.
We shall see. I too will be interested to see what Mellow gets this time. Should be a great day.
Cheers

Rich,
just an idea for the day. didnt get to know many of the bhp figures on the day last time so how about having a leaderboard type thingy next time for people to look at, bit of carboard and a marker pen should do it?
