Default My corrado 20vt

Hello, here are a few pics of my corrado 20vt. I picked this up as something to go to the vw shows this year. I can't take any credit for the car as was done by a very talented guy who did most of the work himself (paint, retrim, engine etc).

Well it looks like a good job, none of the hassles of the VR6 motor, none of the crapness of the 8 valve motor (driven one of those, god it was gutless), would love a G60 but those can be tempremental and i think the 16v was probably the most reliable of the lot but with the 20v engine in there.... should be fun

What sort of power is she pushing?

It's on qpeng management with switchable maps of 180bhp or 270bhp (claimed). Certainly is quick though on full boost.

Love it, always wanted one of those in the day... still a beautiful shape

Subaru's design department could learn a thing or two from this design.... simple is best!

Thumbs up

Gorgeous. Not über keen on the white/cream trim but the rest is just lovely. Ran a G60 up until I got PTMW! and it had to have been one of my most favourite cars. Why VW stopped production I don't know...

Didn't they just produce a heavier squarer scirroco

Kind of like subaru did.

Love it. Had a few VW's myself.

I am building a 66 beetle with full air ride in my (limited) spare time!

One of my all time favourite cars. Not in that colour or trim, prefer the purple blue colour myself but still a very lovely car

Yep agree

Outstanding example, and one of my fave cars too (I had a scirocco GTX in the 80's) always wanted to upgrade my mk2 16v golf to one of these, back in the day

Very nice, do you have a nice pair of carpet slippers that you change into as you get in it?

Always had a soft spot for these. They used to come in a gorgeous metallic aubergine type colour.

I really hankered for one in VR6 guise but couldn't afford one at the time
