Been thinking about a grand cherokee crd about an 07 plate so wondering if anyone has any first hand experience of them please

I had one new Grand Cherokee crd in 06, when on the DCUK scheme, it suffered total electrical failure twice when in use, alarm issues, all this in the first 3 months, it went back to DCUK, & I had a Merc 220 cdi instead, most of my work mates on the same scheme had electrical issues with them, alarms mostly, they all went back & had upgraded systems fitted according to Chrysler, all they did was stop the ultra sonics working.
I don't think they would make a long term reliable vehicle.

I'm sure its a VW diesel engine thats it in at that age. Run away
