Hmmm, its not clear if these are active enforced safety recalls (where the car is demanded to be taken to a dealership for rectification), or just inspections or service bulletins for when a car is booked into a dealership for related work, and is not mandatory or enforced.
I mean for example VAG will replace coil packs on certain peteol engines going back well over ten years if they are of a certain part number. There is no official document online (all have been removed), there is also no official recall. But if you have a VAG with a ignition related misfire with those coilpack fitted, book it in, and they will replace the coil packs for free. Despite this, its not a recall although some forums and sources are calling it a recall.
