The R32 looks set to completely obliterate Golf cynics. I admit that traction is VERY poor in my Golf and wheelspin very bad, it must be worse in the more powerful anniversary? But the R32, that is something else. But to my horror when i called my VW dealer today they told me i could only order it in that hideous BLUE colour!!!!!! YUK! But 250bhp which would easily be chipped to 300bhp, the sexy body kit and twin pipes plus the refinements of the golf...very hard to resist for only £23k!!!! and that INCLUDES XENONS!!!!! XENONS!!!!!!

As you have not seen a Golf in that Blue colour yet, how do you know ?

Not convinced...don't like blue whatever the blue it is. Wanted black...phoned my dealer today and they said they could get me one in 4 month's time. Around £23k basic up to really around £25k with leather, tracker, etc...but i'm not sure...i'm still set on WRX in black with sports exhuast and leather for around £20k
