Hello all,
Had a little battle on a long dual carriageway with a few roundabouts here and there. The driver was a top bloke and appreciated a nice safe bit of fun!
I had to keep to about 90% to not get to close. 110 in 4th and he kindly let me through
MY99 ITG Full Decat.

Cool! I always like racing you Scooby boys in my trusty S3! Sometime I get an asswhooping other times I win by a small amount. It really depends what speed you are doing. The S3 seems better than the standard Scoobs after about 130mph but up untill then it is neck and neck!
I will be getting a 265 bhp chip soon so watch out lads!

The A3T's chipped by APR are pushing out over 200bhp which is not bad considering they are 1145KG!
In a straight line they are certainly a match for a standard S3 or Impreza. They not as good off the line but once they get rolling they are $hit hot!

Benji is a guest for a drive in my RS6... going to APR to have it tuned to around 640bhp... that should see off some porkers
Up for it Benji.. if I can remember where you live

I've been talking to guys in the industry and they reckon that it is good for 650 to 700bhp??
MTM in Germany are offering upgrades to 700bhp for the RS6.. some doubt the life in the tiptronic at this type of power. That is why APR are hedging their bets and keeping it just below 650.. we can only try and find out

daveS6 - the new RS6 looks like a proper beast in standard form, I saw a programme a while back with IIRC Tiff testing it ?
He said it just stuck like glue, amazing handling etc...also superb torque/power figures....can't imagine what it will be like with the upgrade.
if you don't mind me asking how did it cost you for the complete package ??

I've gone for the Avant.. 4.2l Bi-Turbo quattro.. Bhp: 450, Torque 520Nm...
Price comes in at just under £60,000.. haven't had the upgrade yet. The chip companies are looking for raw code so I have managed to get a good deal on the chip.
Obvioulsy things like exhaust and brake upgrades will cost but I will do this as and when I feel I need them. Audi have gone to town on the brakes.
I plan to keep this car for a fair bit.. so I hopefully will improve it as more aftermarket products become available. Mind you.. I don't want it looking like a "Max Power" motor.. most of the mods will be subtle and under the bonnet.

that's a lot of cash...but also a lot of car, I've always liked audi's but never owned one.
I agree with the subtle mods, but then I suppose that's what owning a performance Audi is all about.
shame you don't live up here as I would definetly ask for a ride in it even though I don't know you...
Enjoy your motor when you get it then
So keeping with the current thread, yours would read "easily kept up with a porker 959 today" then
