Well I have some good news... !!!!
Just got a call from Craig to say that our XTR2 has passed SVA !!! - yippee !!! shame I couldn't be there but I had work commitments today.
I will try and get some better pictures up on the board pretty soon but I guess this is enough for now.
So - we are registering the car tomorrow so we should be sorted for the weekend. Coming to a trackday near you soon.

Cheers folks,
Its taken us from late april until now to complete the build. And we've only really worked on the car saturdays and sundays until the last week.
Things left to do.
* Install HUGE rear wing
* Install rear venturi
* Install 'nicer' wing mirrors
* Do the geometry properly
* install removable steering wheel and boss
* install carbon fibre race seats
* Get the ecu remapped to take into account the exhaust manifold and fueling
* Fix a tiny oil leak on the dry sump scavenge pump
and thats it for now. We also have this 'less pressing' tasks.
* Paint the car
* Install racing dampers (damn they are cool)
* Install 100bhp nitrous kit and controller
We'll get the build dairy up to date cos we haven't had the time over the last month and we'll write a small finishing article.
I think True Grip wants to do an article - probably entitled 'If these monkies can build one....so can you'
Ian.

David,
Not sure if that's still ongoing but I guess theres going to be constant tweaks - we're just getting our car setup to Westfields current race settings which seem to work quite well - not too fussed about road settings as we're unlikely to ever be driving quick on the roads - we stick out a little too much
Not sure about SIDC days - the numbers are being reduced so I'd be surprised if there'll be places free for us
After driving it on road for a few miles it's going to take a while to build up enough confidence to drive it as quick as the Scoob I think - Ian can comment after driving this weekend
