Integra import question.

I have decieded to buy an Integra Type r.I found one, v reg, 17000 miles. Owner said it was imported new by mja cars. But looking at it seems to be uk spec.e.g it has round headligths not square like the japanese so I'm unsure of what he means by import.
Can anyone help.
