I'd have thought it wasn't a great track car, but I guess it depends what you are after... Surely a track suspensioned golf would be similar to drive, better value and cheaper to straighten if required!
But really you want RWD surely? How about a nissan 200sx - cheap, easily tuned and reliable!

golf with same running gear is cheaper to buy and easier to fix. FWD is surely OK on the track for 90% of the population. Don't listen to the purists. However if you've got it already who gives a toss, get down there and rip it up ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

I think it'll make a great track car. Brilliant chassis, much better than the Golf, but brakes will need uprating, they are prone to fade. I've had two, and thought them brilliant.

I'm selling my VR6 at the mo
it's a top spec one though so probably not a candidate for the track - mind you, I don't care what the buyer does with it if they buy it!!!

see the for sale if interested.

You might want to look at the weight of the VR6 lump compared to the G60.
And getting it 'properly looked after' shouldn't be a problem - there are loads of guys who know a thing or two about them. That's one of the benefits of something like a Vee Dub.

Not getting rid of the wagon are you?
The Corrado VR6 was a great road car but I don't think it is best suited for track. I had one of these for nearly 4 years and had alot of fun in it.
